Joe Kilby, National Sales Manager for Contract Sales for F. Schumacher & Co. presents CEU Textile Courses for your continuing education. Joe is on the Board of Directors of ACT and is the Chairman of ACT’s Technical Committee. With his wealth of knowledge, his course objectives are to help the designer/specifier understand fabric performance characteristics and how these characteristics relate to code requirements and ACT standards. A discussion of durability, flammability, clean ability, testing standards and fiber characteristics will be undertaken. The goal will be to clarify areas of confusion and help the designer identify the “real” issues in fabric selections for hospitality, corporate and healthcare applications. An introduction to “Green/Sustainable” issues for textiles specifications will be addressed.
